Recent wildland-urban fire disasters have increased the anxiety of insurance providers, emergency responders, wildland resource managers, planners, property owners and local government officials.  This course will provide a basic understanding of how homes ignite and burn to total destruction during extreme wildfires.  This course also provides the foundation for understanding a more effective approach homeowners and communities can take for living compatibly with inevitable wildfires.  

Attendees will gain knowledge to share with home buyers/sellers on how to best prepare their structure(s) and surrounding property for wildfire.  

Eligible for 2 CE Hours.
