Attendees will watch a live stream of Leigh Brown's National Real Estate Ethics Day® Presentation. This course fulfills NAR's Code of Ethics requirement for the current cycle ending 12/31/24. Since this course is scheduled during the typical lunch hour, attendees are welcome to bring a sack lunch to enjoy. 

Course Description: Understanding the Code of Ethics and its requirements makes us better REALTOR®. This course will walk REALTORS® through the articles of the Code with emphasis on the most misunderstood and/or are most violated. Includes all of the latest changes to the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice of the National Association of REALTORS®. Bringing the very best presentation to our buyer and seller clients is our number one goal and following the Code can help you do that. This course provides REALTORS® with a reliable reference for guidance in dealing with complex situations in today’s day to day practice of real estate.

Instructor: Leigh Brown is a dynamic and influential figure in the real estate industry, with a passion for equipping real estate agents with a better understanding of ethical principles and how to apply them in their day-to-day work. Since 2012, Leigh has served her profession as a volunteer on the local, state, and national levels. She is currently serving as President of NC REALTORS®, a board member of the North Carolina Housing Finance Agency, and Chair of Habitat for Humanity Cabarrus County. Leigh’s commitment to the real estate industry extends beyond her professional pursuits, and she continues to support the mission of the REALTORS® Relief Foundation, through her signature National Real Estate Ethics Day® event.
