It’s been 21 years since MySpace was launched and social media started infiltrating every sector of the way we live and do business. Whether you’ve embraced new media or rejected the ‘world wide internets’ as a fad, your real estate practice has been impacted by new media and AI. As social media and new media have evolved, the way real estate agents practice and clients' expectations have changed as well. This course examines how various entities regulate the use of new media by real estate practitioners and provides best practices that every agent can implement in their practice.
Eligible for 3 CE Hrs.
Instructor Trista Curzydlo: With the knowledge you expect from an attorney and the sense of humor you wish your attorney had, Trista Curzydlo brings a fresh perspective to sessions for real estate licensees. Her career as an attorney, both in the courtroom and at the Statehouse, gives her a strong grasp of the “why” behind difficult legal topics. Meanwhile, her experience as Legal Counsel for a REALTORS® association enables her to explain the “how” of risk management in a way that everyone can not only understand, but even enjoy.
Members who register for a CE Class and then simply do not show for the class will be marked as a "no show" and following one initial warning, they will be issued a $10 fee each time they are a no-show. Please use your Info Hub to cancel your class registrations as needed in order to avoid this fee.
