Course Learning Objectives By the end of this course attendees will be able to:
•Explain the purpose and scope of a Property Condition Assessment (PCA)
•Differentiate between a PCA and a commercial building inspection
•Understand ASTM E2018 standards and industry best practices
•Recognize when additional assessments are warranted
•Understand the purpose of a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment
•Identify common property risks that affect value and financing
•Interpret capital reserve projections and cost-to-remedy reports
•Better advise clients during acquisition, disposition, and lease negotiations
